On Thursday, we hiked down to the Stillwater River. It was a hot day and we were hiking through country that had burned in the '88 fires - the trees were 6-10ft high and didn't provide much shade. When we made camp, we took a dip in the Stillwater - it was chilly, but refreshing.

On Friday, we hiked down out to the trailhead. Our plan was to hike over to the Woodbine campground and call from the camp host's trailer, but when we got there the camp host was absent. We hiked another couple of miles down the Nye Road to the Langston's place and called from there. Another great trip in the Beartooths!
