The next morning we headed to the Northwest. We climbed various minor peaks and passed a few lakes. We found a nice spot for lunch on top of an unnamed 10,961 ft peak with a view of the Sky Top Lakes and the Aero Lakes.
We came back to Fossil Lake down a beautiful valley with lots of wildflowers.
It had been a hot day and a dip in the cool (cold?) waters of Fossil Lake was refreshing!
