It was calm in the morning and the lake was as a mirror.
We packed up and headed out.
Toward Lonesome Mountain and Golden Lake.
The outlet stream from Golden Lake runs through big talus and makes for interesting hiking.
Then it opens up into a gorgeous valley.
With some lovely wildflowers.
Another crossing.
We hiked up out out the valley toward Abandoned Lake.
We set up camp early near Lonesome Lake. It rained hard during the night.
