In the morning, we headed off trail towards Lake of the Winds.

We got cliffed out at first, but quickly found a way to go.

We ate lunch at Z Lake. And saw a northern water shrew zipping through the cascade.
We passed several unnamed but pretty lakes.
And made our way to Desolation Lake.
