Sunrise on a smoky morning
The mountain goat from the day before was watching us from afar
The big Red Rock Lake from the high ridge between them all.

We climbed down on our way to Gallery Lake.
We passed Gallery Lake and followed its outlet stream past an unnamed lake.
We then had to cross a couple of steep ridges to get to Lake of the Clouds.
This chunk of rock was interesting.

Some scrambling was required to get to the outlet stream, but we didn't have too much difficulty.

We climbed down some steep talus to the meadow near Lake Ouzel and made camp.
It was a frosty morning. We got up early and headed back to the trailhead.
Russell Lake.
We hustled down the trail and made it to Red Lodge in time for a fabulous lunch at Piccola Cucina with family and friend..
