On day six, we ascended the Placer Basin Trail to the East Boulder Plateau.
The trail was excellent, although steep and long.
On the East Boulder Plateau is a sign indicating the Trail Creek trail - which no longer exists. The next day we would follow the approximate route of the old Trail Creek trail.
We had a great campsite. There were many to choose from.
