Dawn over the lake.
We headed across the plateau and the 6000ft descent to the trailhead.
After relatively easy hiking across the plateau, we started the steep descent into the valley.
Unfortunately, we screwed up our navigation and ended up too far South. There were lots of cliffs to work around.
We ran into the aquaduct from Mystic Lake and followed the tracks to the surge tower.
We saw a few bighorn sheep.
The flume was very steep at the surge tower. We had a hard time finding a route down, but ended up downclimbing a bunch of loose talus to the North.
At the trailhead.
It was a great trip.
